You built your own carousel tool. It is a single file that runs in your browser, works offline, needs no login, and is yours to keep.
Here is how to use it whenever you want.
Step one
Opening your tool
- Find your saved tool file, the HTML file you downloaded.
- Open it in your browser. Double click it, or right click and choose Open with Chrome.
- It opens straight into your brand, your colors and fonts already loaded.
The one rule
Do not upload the file into ChatGPT, Claude, or any AI. It is the tool itself, not a prompt. AI chats cannot run it. Always open it in your browser. If it opens as a wall of code, it did not save as a real file. Download it again from Skool, then open the saved file.
Do this once
Bookmark the tab. With your tool open in the browser, bookmark it. From then on your studio is one tap away, no hunting for the file, no re-downloading. This is the single best habit for actually using it every week.
Step two
Making a carousel
- Pick your format. Portrait 1080 by 1350 for most carousels. It is the grid safe size. Square if you prefer.
- Type your copy. Add an eyebrow label, a headline, and optional subtext.
- Choose a background. Tap one of your brand colors, the gradient, or upload a photo.
- Set the layout. Adjust headline size, alignment, and vertical position.
- Add your marks. Turn on the accent rule, your logo, your handle, or a slide number.
- Add more slides. Use the plus button, or Duplicate to repeat a slide and change the words.
Keep your hook inside the red guides
The red dashed lines show where the Instagram grid crops your post. Keep your headline between them so your best line never gets cut off on your profile. The guides are preview only. They never show up in the saved image.
Step three
Proofread, then export
Click Proofread. Every slide's words appear in one place with spell check on. Fix any red underlines, read each line out loud once, then export. Reading aloud catches the errors your eyes skip.
Saving your carousel
- Click Export PNGs. Your slides appear as images.
- On desktop, right click an image and choose Save image as, or use the download button under it.
- On mobile, tap and hold an image to save it to your camera roll.
- Post them to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, Stories, or anywhere else.
When you need it
Changing your brand later
- Click Edit brand to update your colors, fonts, handle, or logo any time.
- After editing, click Download my tool to save a fresh copy with your new brand baked in. Open that new file and bookmark it.
Logo tip
Use a logo PNG with a transparent background. A logo with a white box behind it will look like a sticker on a colored slide. If yours has a white background, either skip the logo or use your handle instead, which always looks clean.
If something goes sideways
Quick troubleshooting
It opened as code
It did not save as a real file. Re-download from Skool and open the saved file in Chrome.
A download did nothing
You are likely viewing the tool inside a preview window. Open the saved file directly in your browser and try again.
My brand disappeared
You probably opened the original blank tool, not your saved branded copy. Open the file named with your business name, or click Edit brand and set it again.
I lost my file
A fresh copy is always in our Skool classroom. Download it and rebrand in two minutes.
An image will not save
On desktop, right click and Save image as. On mobile, tap and hold the image.
Last thing
If you get stuck
The replay and a fresh copy of your tool are in our Skool classroom. And the best thing you can do is simple. Open your tool this week and make one carousel. You did the hard part already. You built it. Now use it.
